"Friend" the Friends of George IB Foundation
The Friends of George IB Foundation is reaching out to alumni, current students, families and friends of IB as a way to stay in touch, help with fund-raising efforts, and to draw on everyone's vast reservoir of talent and experience.
IF YOU KNOW AN ALUM of the program – your own child, someone else's, a friend, etc. – please send me their contact information as well. PASS THIS MESSAGE ON – send it to colleges, companies, etc. Mention it at gatherings and dinner. WE WANT TO FIND EVERYONE!!
Simply send Tom Zeiler (IB Foundation President) (thomaswilliamzeiler@gmail.com) your e-mail address and phone or address information if there is no e-mail.
On facebook, please join by a friend request to: GW IB Friends
We hope to set off a chain-reaction through you: we'd like your contact information and then to tap into your storehouse of connections. So, please give us the e-mail addresses of your friends and family who were in the IB program. Then, they can give us their contacts. A multiplier effect is what we're after!!
Let's try to build a NETWORK of IB Friends for the benefit of the program and the future. And who knows: maybe you'll be able to reconnect to long-lost friends!
And DON'T FORGET: the Ebrahimi Family Foundation has again pledged to match $15,000 of contributions to the IB Foundation from IB families, alumni and friends. This means that the first $15,000 of contributions from IB families, alumni and friends will be doubled to $30,000. Also remember that because part of the Ebrahimi Challenge Grant is designed to match contributions from other foundations, please let me know of any charitable foundations that might help us out. Let's meet the challenge!
